Mr John Aspinall of Wrendal Holdings (Established in 1959), saw that there was a gap in the market for a specialist rotary screen engraving company, and established Meshtex Ltd in 1972, in the business of rotary screen engraving and colour separation services. 

The company went from strength to strength throughout the 1970′s, 1980′s and 1990′s, and Mr Aspinall remained Chairman until he passed away in 2009. Today, Meshtex is still in the very capable hands of the Aspinall family, who continue to steer the company forward and to invest a great deal of time and resources into ensuring that the company continues to flourish.

While we have certainly downsized in recent years, we are one of the very few companies in the rotary screen engraving industry that have managed to survive the decline in the market and the economic downturn, and we have done this by continuing to focus on offering a service which is second to none, and by being willing to put time and effort into researching new emerging opportunities to offer rotary screen engraving services to new markets, including the food industry, the defense,  healthcare and other specialist markets.

We have also diversified into other area’s in which we can make the most of our design skills and experience, including the photo gifts industry, and in supplying blank goods, consumables & equipment to the photo gifts industry. 

40 years in business is a milestone that we are proud of, and we are confident that Meshtex Ltd. will continue to thrive for many years to come!
